The problem

Every HRIS question becomes either a manual export session in Dayforce's native UI or an engineering ticket that waits three days. Analysts who know the data can't access it quickly. Developers who can access it spend their time building one-off reports instead of strategic projects. AI agents have no structured surface into Dayforce at all. The engineering bottleneck compounds: routine requests block strategic work, manual exports introduce errors, and the same integration logic gets rebuilt for every new use case.

Before / After

Before

HRIS analyst receives headcount question from finance, logs into Dayforce, navigates four menus to find the right report builder, exports CSV, reformats in Excel, emails result. Elapsed time: 45 minutes. Next question arrives; process repeats. Developer receives request for org-chart data, writes custom SQL, waits for security review, ships script. Elapsed time: 3 days.

After

HRIS analyst types 'How many employees in Engineering hired after Q2 2024?' into Daybridge. Cited answer with export options appears in 45 seconds. Analyst clicks 'Send to Slack' and moves to the next question. Developer runs `daybridge query --prompt 'org chart JSON'` in terminal, pipes result into their CI script. Elapsed time: 12 seconds.

See it in action

How it works

  1. Install the Daybridge .exe on your Windows machine and authenticate with your Dayforce read-only API credentials.

Single-file install, no admin rights required. Credentials stay local.

  2. Type your question in plain English: 'How many open reqs in Sales?' or 'Export comp data for VP-level roles hired in 2023.'

Daybridge parses intent, queries Dayforce, and returns cited answers with source references.

  3. Choose your export format—Markdown, CSV, xlsx, PDF—or send directly to Slack or email.

One click from answer to distribution. No manual reformatting.

  4. Developers and AI agents use the same integration via AXI CLI, MCP server, or Claude Code plugin.

Shared surface means one integration layer, consistent audit logs, and no parallel pipelines.

Where it lives

Daybridge connects directly to your Dayforce instance via read-only API. Install the Windows .exe locally, authenticate once, and start querying. The same integration layer exposes Dayforce to internal developers through an AXI CLI, MCP server, and Claude Code plugin.
